Day 2 at UCYC has been filled with excitement. We are enjoying our time so much with the kids! There are color competitions here this year so be sure to ask your kids what color group they were in. Currently the yellow team is in first place!!! Woohoo...that also happens to be my teams color :) As the days go on we are continuing to learn about Jesus and they type of man he was. The children are digging deep today and learning what it means to be an "insider" or popular crowd...or the "outsider" maybe the one that was left out. Jesus spent most of his time with the outsiders and that is where we need to be as well.

I just want to remind everyone to email your children. They love getting mail from you! Just remember they can't write back. Email them at www.ucyc.com go to the blue box and click email camper. Be sure to put into the subject line their name and Parkway. Do that instead of leaving comments to the children here as they don't have access to computers or electronics up here. I am sure though they will love to see the pictures when they get home.

Hope you enjoy these few pictures. Off to go have fun!

Slip and Slid fun!

Jason helping his son Dakoda up the rock wall to sounds of all the campers chanting Dakodas name and clapping and yelling for him! It was amazing! Thanks to the UCYC staff here for making this all possible for Dakoda!

Two of our boys leading worship dance moves :) it was great!

  2. Danielle,
I have to tell you that I cried too, to see the picture of Dakota. He is often in my group when I serve on Sunday's and I just LOVE his free spirit and willingness to learn. So glad to see that he is having as much as fun as the rest of the group!
